Strings Band is lucky enough to get into the two short-listed bands, one of which will compose the title track for upcoming Hollywood Film of “Avengers” Series.

According to latest news report, Five bands from both the countries India and Pakistan were considered. Among them, only Pakistani Band Strings and Indian Band Agnee are short listed. Now, there is said to be a clash between both the bands and only one band will be given the opportunity to compose the title track of hindi dubbed version of Avengers.

The decision for this will be taken in next 10 days and the criteria will not just be what the bands are creating now, but also what they had earlier produced. Just to remind our readers, Strings have earlier given the soundtrack of Hollywood Movie Spidermen. It is being said that Strings’ soundtrack for Spidermen will also be considered and it can get them an edge against the other Indian band Agnee.

The name “Strings” always reminds a Pakistani about the quality music whose trend was revolutionized by talented musicians. String band is one of them. After the replacement of their drummer in October 2010, Strings band got a new talent Aahad Nayani who, after joining the band gave remarkable recordings, gigs and concerts.

The news is that Aahad Nayani is now selected as the brand ambassador of world’s leading percussion and Drumsticks Company called Vater. It is a US based company and its drumsticks are used by various popular artists including Matt Flynn from Maroon 5. So, it is really a big achievement for strings as well as for the whole country. Pakistan’s iconic pop/rock band ‘Strings’, have recently completed their tour of university campuses around Pakistan to connect with the youth as part of ‘Gillette Grooming Gurus’ campaign. Strings also performed a concert in Karachi at The Beach Luxury Hotel as part of the campaign, which was attended by over 3,000 people, most of which comprised of students from across Karachi.

Around two months ago, Gillette officially launched Mach3 Sensitive in Pakistan and announced its partnership with ‘Strings’ as Gillette Grooming Gurus. As part of the campaign Strings and Gillette team visited university campuses across Pakistan and connected with thousands of young men and shared with them tips on styling and grooming. The key idea behind this initiative was to instill confidence in the Pakistani youth and help them prepare for challenges of the professional world. (more…)

After the collaboration of Levi’s with Strings, the brand is now providing you the opportunity to interact with your Favorite band Strings via a Video Blog Series. Through this page, the fans can start a query session and can ask anything about String’s work in Pakistani music industry, their upcoming project and anything they want to ask.

In a video recorded by and released on Levi’s the Originals Youtube Channel, Strings told their fans about all this. At the very first video blog, the band’s front man and lead vocalist Faisal Kapadia said, “I think it’s a great time to acknowledge that and say to you guys but thank you so much for being our fans and you guys are our strength. The most recent golf club concert didn’t only have Strings in it, but also a new star who was imported all the way from Lahore to mesmerize the audience with his fresh new tunes. This was Bilal Khan who opened the show and performed before the Strings band.
