Adil Omar is finding his way ahead in the Pakistani music industry after working with international musicians on different singles. He did this work for his studio album last year. For some reason the album has not been released yet. May be the right time for Adil has not yet signaled.

Now he is working in collaboration with Meesha Shafi for another single, Sugar Low. The song is being produced by KFied, Talal Qureshi and Mahmood Rahman. After the completion of this song the long awaited album is expected to be released any time this year. (more…)

Meesha Shafi and Mahmood Rahman are both in trouble for allegations against stealing equipment from Farhad Humayun’s studio, what some online sources say is probably a vocal processor. The Lahore court has even issued a warrant on Monday against these two former-members of Overload. However, Mahmood is in denial of any such legal action against the two of them saying, “The report is completely false”. Some sources, however, say that they have confessed to their guilt of doing such an act.

Farhad still maintains that this is the case, but he would not like to make a big fuss out of fear of giving bad reputation to Overload’s former band members. Despite apparently showing a soft corner for Meesha and Mahmood, he used strong words saying:

“I guess the word got out because the court issued a statement. It usually does when criminals don’t appear for the hearing.” (more…)

Pakistani fashion and music icon Meesha Shafi will appear in a Hollywood flick ‘The Reluctant Fundamentalist’. The movie will be directed by Mira Nair, who is an Indian movie director and producer based in New York, USA.

Meesha will star alongside Hollywood actors Kate Hudson, Liev Schreiber and Kiefer Sutherland. While accompanying Meesha in the project from Bollywood, there will be Shabana Aazmi and Om Puri. Other cast for the movie includes Nelsan Ellis, Martin Donovan and Haluk Bilginer. (more…)

The most awaited news is here , the model turned rock-star singer Meesha Shafi, who was expecting a baby this month, has given birth to a BABY GIRL.

It was came to our attention when her facebook profile picture was turned into a new born baby face. We are just wondering if the event has been taken place or its just preparation for the big day.

On her Official Facebook page though, a fan’s comment was noted as she was exclaiming loud ‘meesha had a babyyyyy’ which was actually posted on 17th April 2011. Oh its been long time and the news in nowhere in media. (more…)

The ex-lead vocalist of the band Overload and Coke Studio’s Jugni Jee fame singer Meesha Shafi is all set to complete and release her own album – a debut music album!

Revealing the news to the media, Meesha Shafi (original name: Meera Shafi) & Mehmood Rehman(also former Lead Guitarist of Overload) told that she along with her husband Mahmood Rehman is working on her new album which will be out hopefully by the end of this year 2011. (more…)
