Strings Band is lucky enough to get into the two short-listed bands, one of which will compose the title track for upcoming Hollywood Film of “Avengers” Series.

According to latest news report, Five bands from both the countries India and Pakistan were considered. Among them, only Pakistani Band Strings and Indian Band Agnee are short listed. Now, there is said to be a clash between both the bands and only one band will be given the opportunity to compose the title track of hindi dubbed version of Avengers.

The decision for this will be taken in next 10 days and the criteria will not just be what the bands are creating now, but also what they had earlier produced. Just to remind our readers, Strings have earlier given the soundtrack of Hollywood Movie Spidermen. It is being said that Strings’ soundtrack for Spidermen will also be considered and it can get them an edge against the other Indian band Agnee.

Ali Azmat is still dissatisfied with his former band-member Salman Ahmad. He says that he has nothing against the band itself, but he cannot tolerate Salman. Even though Salman wants to mend things to get together again as a band, but Ali would have none of it.

Ali Azmat said this regarding Salman:

“I resent Salman Ahmad; I can’t stand the man and can’t take his dramas. It’s a choice of personal liking. Salman has tried to contact me but I don’t see the point, I won’t be able to tolerate a lot of things. When you’re younger, you overlook a lot of things and you don’t know much, but I’m 41 now and at this stage in time I cannot play music like that.” (more…)

THE BACKGROUND:

Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan, Nazia Hassan, Vital Signs, Junoon and Alamgir are such names who resuscitated the music industry of Pakistan with their spellbound, magical, and intoxicating music.

But now a days, since the modernization of music (the new trend of hip-hops and other kinda weird music); we trend to forget what those pioneers had in ‘it’ themselves and what made them earn so much respect in the entire world above everything else. Shockingly, though, Alamgir is the only big name whom we’ve all seem to forgotten.

His passion for bringing in and delivering music to Pakistan was ever-lasting and his enchanting music is something to remember for ages to come. He certainly emerged as one of the top-pioneers of pop-music in Pakistan.

Talking about the second volume of Junoon’s 20^th Anniversary, the album will consist of a total of 20 songs. The news is that after going solo, Farhan Saeed will also be playing his part in this volume. He recently recreated Junoon’s slow ballad track “Chalay Thay Saath” with Saad sultan and Amir Ali in his own style.

While talking about his number for #Junoon20 Farhan said:

“When Salman Ahmed, the ideal of so many people emailed me; it was a dream come-true. He asked me about my favorite songs from Junoon and I chose Junoon’s “Chalay They Saath” which is my all time favorite.” (more…)

Ali Azmat in a recent interview talked about Junoon’s 20th Anniversary Album and also explained the issues between Junoon’s front man Salman Ahmad and him. Ali told that he actually wants to do something for music but music is only a matter of cash for him(Salman).
