Pakistani Band Fuzon, who is not quite active in music scene these days, will soon be taking part in an international collaboration with Norwegian and American musicians.

As announced by their publicist Eva Dowd, Fuzon will be collaborating with an American jazz quartet from New York that will be flying down to Karachi in mid-September to Work with Fuzon. The project will develop a song for pace and commence from the 15th of September. Later on, both the bands will fly to Islamabad and perform at the rock Musicarium in the end of September. (more…)

In the last decade Pakistani music industry has produced some new,young and very talented musicians. Among of these are greats like Atif Aslam, Jal, Fuzon, Aaroh, E.P, Rahat Fateh Ali Khan and many others. Then in late 2000s there came a totally new generation of musicians which included Bilal Khan, Qayaas, Pukaar and one more which we are going to introduce you today with – Ismail and Junaid.

Ismail and Junaid actually hail from Peshawar,Pukhtunkhua. Coming from here very few could have imagined that they would catch any attention in the country, especially with a song that was in Pushto. Today many of us listen to Qarar,even though we do not understand what does “Qarar ra rasha” mean.

Well this explains what good music is. Even if you do not understand what it is,you just want to keep on listening to it and as long as you do not get totally enthralled in the notes.

Well PakiUM has done a sitting with this new talented duo from Peshawar, Ismail and Junaid.

Introduction of Ali Raza:

Ali Raza is a new talented singer, all the way from Karachi. He is a versatile vocalist who can sing Rock,Pop & Semi Classical songs very well. Those who have watched Pakistan’s premier singing competition “Pakistan Sangeet Icon 2″ are witnessed of his performances. He competed with the best voices of Pakistan and arose as a finalist of the show. Ali has also sung many jingles for different products.

We have seen many Musicians featuring & making songs for the Corporate Companies. Recently EP made a come back with Shor Machao track , which was branded with Djuice Telenor. Noori’s Jhool Lay track for Cornetto, Warid Glow campaign featuring the various Pakistani Musicians are just a few examples. These experiments have mostly been successful and welcomed by the masses. Now it seems a continuous trend growing rapidly.

The track is in recording process and will be completed & release very soon. We couldnt confirm whether there is any Video for the song or not, but yeah we DO believe that there will be VIDEO as well to run on TV channels to get most exposure.If video is also planned then the song may take some more time to release.

So keep your fingers crossed as Telenor is going to give us another treat very soon.
