Pakistani Pop-Bhangra Singer Falak Shabbir has given two of his popular songs for an upcoming and delayed Bollywood movie. He will also compose another new song for the movie soundtrack.
Falak, who recently released music video of Soniye that was shot in London-UK and was aimed to target the desi audience of UK, announced this news in a recent interview. While talking to E-News Channel, Falak revealed that he has given two of his original and popular songs; Rog and Tera Saath ho; for the movie soundtrack. Whereas he will be composing another new track “Mera Mann” specially for the movie, which is titled as “#7 Welcome to London”. (more…)

Well, there was so much hype regarding a concert that recently took place in Lahore last weekend. The mega event was organized by Octave Entertainment and it was one of its own kind of event that happened in Lahore in recent years. The musicians who performed LIVE there were: Arif Lohar, Raga Boyz, Shazia Manzoor, Annie and Falak. While the one celebrity who literally attracted thousands of Lahoris, was none other than Atif Aslam.
Aslam, who was performing after a long time in a public concert in his town, was seen in very casual looks. Wearing not a corporate, branded or decent wardrobe (as he used to wear in major events) but rather a black sleeve-less TEE, he was definitely looking very ‘different’ that night. More than that, what he did there, with his casual behavior was surprising for many. (more…)
As we informed our readers earlier, to take part and use their right of “freedom of expression” via The Sketches’ new video, Kaanton kee Dewaren. Consequently, Band The Sketches has received and shared with us  a couple of more pictures that will become the part of their upcoming video. These picture messages are by some university students, the Band ROXEN, the Solo Artist Falak and The Sketches band members – Saif and Naeem – as well.
The Sketches Band’s videos have always been conceptual, different & unique from the others and always highlighted an issue or raised awareness. This is one big reason that this upcoming video “Kaanton Ke Deewarain” is highly anticipated. Other reason is the band’s last video “RAAT – MOOMAL RANO” which received an overwhelming response and helped reviving the old forgotten folk tale of Sindh.
As per our information, the video is in final process and is scheduled to go-on-release this EID on major Pakistani Music Channels. Lets just hope that It comes on time and we end up with watching another meaningful video with some participation of general public.
