channels airing morning tv shows

By Rehan Shahzada Once upon a time when there was only one channel  called “PTV” (Pakistan Television) and the people of Pakistan were emotionally attached to this channel not because of their hosts but the amount of filtered entertainment which was the symbol of PTV and which truly represented the ideology and culture of that 80’s...

Mehdi Hassan death rumors and annoying RIP posts on Social Media!

by Danish Mughal - on Jan 13th 2012 - 1 Comment

Mehdi Hassan in Hospital

Since morning, I have been reading Facebook statuses like “RIP Mehdi Hassan” and “Mehdi Hassan Sahab you will always be missed” etc.

When I woke up today and checked my FB stream, these were a few related statuses that came on the top stories of my Facebook news feed. One can imagine, how one would feel after receiving this shocking/drastic news at the early phase of the day.

Being a web publisher, I searched Google News to get the confirmation of the news from any authentic and reliable source. As doubted, no mainstream media had covered the news lately and the only source which made the headline “Legendary Mehdi Hassan passes away” was the web portal RadioandMusic.Com. We are not sure who first spread this false rumor, but a couple of publications that first published this story online, has already taken it off now, which again confirms that no such thing occurred. Lahore Court Issues Warrant against Overload’s Former Band Members, Meesha and Mahmood

by Sidrah Zaheer - on Jan 3rd 2012 - No Comments

Meesha and ShafiMeesha Shafi and Mahmood Rahman are both in trouble for allegations against stealing equipment from Farhad Humayun’s studio, what some online sources say is probably a vocal processor. The Lahore court has even issued a warrant on Monday against these two former-members of Overload. However, Mahmood is in denial of any such legal action against the two of them saying, “The report is completely false”. Some sources, however, say that they have confessed to their guilt of doing such an act.

Farhad still maintains that this is the case, but he would not like to make a big fuss out of fear of giving bad reputation to Overload’s former band members. Despite apparently showing a soft corner for Meesha and Mahmood, he used strong words saying:

“I guess the word got out because the court issued a statement. It usually does when criminals don’t appear for the hearing.” (more…)

Zaain ul Abideen’s song “Saanson Mein” in Bollywood Movie (Full Track)

by Danish Mughal - on Sep 11th 2011 - No Comments

Zaain ul Abideen Song "Sanson Mein" in Bollywood Movie Tell Me O KhudaUpdate: The song “Saanson mein” was supposed to be release with a movie soundtrack of a popular bollywood Movie, but at the time of soundtrack release, it couldn’t be included in the movie for some reasons. Artist and Bollywood producers are still in contact with each other. And will soon collaborate for another Bollywood venture.

However, we have confirmed from Zaain’s management that this specific movie “Tell Me O Khuda” HAS NOT ANY SONG OF ZAAIN in it, as they have not been notified about it yet. Therefore this leak should be considered only as a rumor and false promotion without any known intention. The artist management and us are unaware about the anonymous source pushing the song and the video.

As we reported few months ago that Chue Chue Fame Artist Zaain-ul-Abideen has sung a song for Bollywood Movie. Today, that song has apparently released/leaked, as we are tipped by an anonymous source.

Below is one video trailer from Hema Malini’s Movie “Tell Me O Khuda” starring Esha Deol, Vinod Khanna, Rishi Kapoor, Arjan Bajwa, Dharmendra, Hema Malini etc.

One song “Saanson Mein” from the movie soundtrack is apparently sung by our own Zain-ul-Abideen, as we reported earlier. The movie soundtrack of Tell Me O Khuda is composed by Pritam and is expected to release on 23rd September 2011.

Listen the full song in the below embedded video: ( the song Sanson mein is also included in Zaain’s Debut Album ZEAL ) (more…)
