The most recent golf club concert didn’t only have Strings in it, but also a new star who was imported all the way from Lahore to mesmerize the audience with his fresh new tunes. This was Bilal Khan who opened the show and performed before the Strings band.

Mata-e-Jaan Hai Tu, is an upcoming drama serial directed by Mehreen Jabbar which is based on a novel written by famous Urdu novelist Farhat Ishtiaq. The love story is contingent on a young US born girl and a Pakistani boy. Coming to the point that now Bilal khan will be composing the music of this Serial as Mehreen Jabbar exclaimed in one of her statements. She said, “The original song for Mata-e-Jaan Hai tu will be composed by Bilal Khan.”

Today we have got one brilliantly done artistic work sent to us by our Facebook page‘s fan and a true artist Ali Ather, that showcase the two emerging Pakistani musicians of 2011. These are none other than Coke Studio featured Artists; Bilal Khan and Quratulain Balouch aka QB.
Peshawar – the land of hospitality – has produced a fine number of new aspiring musicians, among them there is Sajid and Zeeshan, Irfan Khan, Ismail and Junaid, Yasir and Jawad and many others.
Among this fine breed of musicians, there is one name that is very famous on the roads and in the Underground Scene of Peshawar, and that is Farhan Bogra. Farhan Bogra is the guy who actually has played a very substantial hand in the promotion of Rubab in the Underground, National and even international music scene. He is the one who has played Rubab in Qarar by Ismail and Junaid. He has also played Rubab for a Japanese band Rain in Eden.
Rubab is also known as the “lion of the instruments”, and Bogra has on it profile the credit to play the first ever Rubab Rock song (Rubkin) in the history.
