Ali Azmat – the famous Pakistani Rock star – was spotted today in Karachi at a major political event called as DHARNA (English: sit-in). He actively participated in Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf’s DHARNA and also addressed to thousands of people who attended the event.

Dharna that was organized against the Government’s policies, was attended by the celebrities from the all walk of life. Among famous celebrities, there were Mani and Azfar as well who are popular among the young generation.

Ali Azmat who came up recently as a strong contender of American policies and Capitalism attended this event and supported Imran Khan’s cause. Earlier, we have watched him promoting the ideology of Iqbal in his concerts. The rockstar who also hosted a show on Allama Iqbal – the one who first presented the idea of Pakistan – is now seem very much inspired from Allama’s ideology. This is why, he is now more active politically than any other celebrity or showbiz person.

We wish him luck for his efforts and hope that for the cause they are on roads would bring some positive changes in our society and eventually in our country.
