About Dum The Band :
DUM is a simple three letter Urdu word that packs a heavy punch. It means intensity, great strength, and depth of feeling. The name DUM stems from the Bands shared vision of creating a new level of intensity, vigor, and depth within prevalent Pop/Rock music. Not only our music is an extension to our natural expression, but also a common ground for mutual understanding across the globe. DUM is aimed to push the boundaries of contemporary Eastern-Western melodies further by blending cultures and reaching a unique state of harmonic equilibrium between the two hemispheres; in an intense fashion.
DUM is composed of three Pakistani artists who understand the importance of cultural as well as musical integration between the East and the West: Lead Vocalist – Asif Hasan, Guitarist & Backing Vocals – Taimur Syed, Keyboards, Synths & Vocals – Mohsin Khan

a song that you would listen to once and then forget about. there are many minor flaws in the song but i guess after experiences they will overcome them. the vocalist needs alot of practice! he sounds like he’s singing from his nose when he picks up the song! keyboards were not that impressive because i guess it was just a basic song so you couldn’t play around with it too much. guitars – taimur should’ve experimented with more distortions. Overall, it’s better then alot of other garbage that’s playing on tv. hats off to you guys and you too taimur.
Thanks for giving suggestions & constructive feedback to the band. We hope that they will work on their flaws next time.
