song frm prince .. first ov all i would like u guys to
knw tht     whenever a song is recorded for the playback
film in the studio , the singer only gets to sing on the
rough track   (i.e the music is just used as a reference
which is certainly not the final track when it is being
recorded in the studio ). In addition to tht, only the
music director has the right to put in the music(i.e the
way film director and producer wants to) . so ppl if
there is any such version which is against ma religion is
offcourse and vill never be supported. Simplelyrics ki ager baat kerein to mein ne
yeh socha k meray fans aab tak urdu ko itna samjh chukay
hon gay k farak ker sakein gay ek ganay ki shaeri mein
aur aaam urdu mein …. i mean the lyrics of tere liye
are not literal infact jis wajah say log ler rahay hain

In d song, Atif was playing a character….he was singing just what music director told him to sing………there is no need of any arguement over this….we have even our bollywood heroes like Amitabh Bacchan blaming God in Movies but no one objected it bcoz every one knows that he was playing character……so don’t be narrow minded n listen d song…..it is superb!!!!!!!!!!
Atif just told the wrong meaning of khudai.
khudai means “KHUDA ki ibadat or KHUDA ki tareef”!
And he also sings ‘jannat hai banai mene tere lye’
ATIF ASLAM ek insan hokar jannat kaise bana sakta hai jab k jannat sirf khuda bana sakta hai aur MISR(EGYPT) k ek zalim badshah “FERON” ne sirf jannat banane ka dawa kia tha… Aur zara koi bataye inhe k FERON k sath kya hua tha!

Well Atif, you explained it very well but still your side is quite weak coz the words you have used in songs are directly pointing at shirk and obviously there was shirk in that song and shirk is the biggest sin, now whatever u have said repent over it its good for you, aur jannat banai mene tere liye, ab iski kya meaning nikaloge by the way atif i m your fan now dont commit such kind of mistake again, thnx
Those who are cursing Atif, I think you guys really need to go and get some knowledge of Urdu literature and poems .. The great poets and literary people of Urdu have very beautifully used such words many a times before to express their love and romance, and never was a controversy raised. Aap log doosron par ungli uthane se pehle khud ko dekho ki kitna knowledge hai aapko Urdu literature ka..
Kehte hain naa ki jiske baas knowledge kam hota hai, woh hi zyada shor karte hain.. sahi kehte hain ..
