@tinson: There are various applications out there that can be do the job, I chose the CopyTrans manager for 2 reasons.

1. I use it
2. It can be installed right onto the pod or a usb stick which is quite useful for me.

Of course there are various other applications that will do the job just as well. I encourage everyone who has used a software other than the ones mentioned to come forward and tell us about them.
