We upload the tracks of upcoming musicians when they send it to us , there is not as such qualitative requirements to release a song. We just release the tracks on request of artist and there is no question of rejection(though sometimes we get lazy to upload & post it)
PakiUM is just a platform , you can also use this platform & release your tracks (live/unplugged or immature) and target our audience for free. Only our site visitors have a right to accept or reject the music.

@ Fatima: It’s your right to comment on any content here with absolute liberty and you did so. What I appreciate most is that you did not criticize the person but the CONTENT on the basis of your perception.
I hope that you will give it a second thought, that calling Hyderabad ‘A city that doesn’t have talent’ is not a rational comment anyways. I will not counter your arguments with mine but wish to draw attention towards the harsh tone.
Music is never ending canvas and no artist has yet painted it completely and no one would ever and that’s the beauty of art. It’s all about our aesthetics!
It’s a known fact that in this small world there are singers/artists who are both loved overwhelmingly and hated bitterly by a large number of people but it hasn’t stopped them pursuing their passion.
I would love to see some kind suggestions and feedback that you could give to Owais to let him improve, he would surely be indebted for this….

@ OWAIS: Owais, after reading my post you shouldn’t have commented so negatively about Fatima or her post etc… She didn’t pick on you initially and I think you shouldn’t do it as well.
This reminds me an interesting incident…
Once a friend of mine was sitting in Rahim Yaar Khan at the place of a famous ustaad where a very famous folk singer of Pakistan (I would keep the name sealed) was also sitting. My friend didn’t notice his appearance and when Ustaad discussed about his (Folk singer) music , my friend started nagging him like anything not knowing that the folk singer was sitting in the same room.
and for your amazement, you know what that famous folk singer replied…. he said, ” Jee dost aap theek keh rahay hein mujhay bilkul gana naheen ata, lekin mein seekh raha hoon or koshish ker raha hoon, jahan bhi ghalati ho aap mujhay zurror bataiye ga”
That was the moment that brought a considerable change in my friend’s attitude this one incident provided him an opportunity for a paradigm shift…

Hey people dont fight……Music is not race nd not even camparision between artists…. that this one can play fast and better this this one not……if u dont like any thing dont abbuse any one just let them know that these are the weakness and u need to improve them….. Every artist play wid there own style…..we must appriciate them that they are atleast tryin…..
And Owais your idea is cool…. i like the way u start wid accoustic clean nd then distortion came in…. i found music ingredients in your song but u need to display them properly…. use some back vocal and scream on chorus so they get matched wid guitar distorion…. cuz u r trying to take the song high in the chorus nd u did that wid all instruments but vocal remains low..check out mizraab’s song ujaloun main to get the idea..put some back vocals. i hope u r getting my point…….
and u need to work on recording quality…. nd i know this is home recording song but u can improve it by using some amp mic techniques…and using good software…
